The FootAnchor assists in getting out of bed and exercising your core with one device
Using your leg as leverage and getting into a sitting position is easy. Get up after shoulder/elbow surgery or injury, even after a stroke, without needing to use your arms. Saving you from further injury and a slower recovery.
These two videos show a comparison of getting up with and without the FootAnchor. The FootAnchor will give you a padded hook to put your foot under and an easy sit-up. When not in use, push it to the side against the mattress. It is not visible if you use a bedspread or comforter.
With and without the FootAnchor!
Sitting up using the FootAnchor for assistance, giving your leg leverage to pull you up.
Sitting with no Assistance you might need to roll over and potentially get hurt.
AWARD WINNING DESIGN
With the patented design, the FootAnchor is the only product available that gives you the ability to sit-up without using your arms. The "padded rod gives your legs just the right amount of leverage to set up easily (Remember when you had someone hold your feet so you could easily do a sit-up, this is the same concept).
Do you dig your foot under the mattress to help in sitting up. "I can't believe how many people I speak with that hook their foot off the side of bed searching for that little space between the mattress and bed spring, then burying your toes in to grab enough mattress to support using your leg to help sit-up." This is similar to doing a sit-up with someone holding your legs. This works sometimes, but if you don't hook correctly your foot can slip out and you could hurt yourself.
